At the risk of continuing to beat an already-dead horse, 2020 has been a whirlwind- but what a lot of people don’t realize, is that the real estate market is faring well. Not only are buyers looking for new homes, there has been and continues to be a shortage of inventory.

Part of that relates to people wanting to avoid another year of shoveling snow and scraping ice off their car windshields. A second part of that relates to some peoples’ concern about a second wave of COVID-19 (and a possible second shutdown). It seems that a lot of people from colder-climate states are deciding that if they’re going to be told to shelter in place, they’d prefer to do it in sunny, Southwest Florida.
