At the risk of continuing to beat an already-dead horse, 2020 has been a whirlwind- but what a lot of people don’t realize, is that the real estate market is faring well. Not only are buyers looking for new homes, there has been and continues to be a shortage of inventory.

Lastly, it’s also worth noting that snowbirds are house hunting in full force. Part of that relates to people wanting to avoid another year of shoveling snow and scraping ice off their car windshields. A second part of that relates to some peoples’ concern about a second wave of COVID-19 (and a possible second shutdown). It seems that a lot of people from colder-climate states are deciding that if they’re going to be told to shelter in place, they’d prefer to do it in sunny, Southwest Florida.
