Single-family Home Sales, Home Prices Up Notably Year Over Year

 

Greetings, Neighbors! I think we can all agree that 2020 has felt like it would never end (all things considered)—but now, 2021 is just a few weeks away. Because the Southwest Florida real estate market is very active right now and buyers are in the market.

For example, according to the Regional Economic Research Institute at Florida Gulf Coast University, single-family home sales within SWFL costal counties rose by a whopping 48% in October 2020, compared to October 2019. Also, notable, is that single family home prices for all three coastal counties- increased between 13-33% during that same reporting period.

Yes, that’s right.
