One of the most compelling trends is the continued demand for homes, which is outpacing the available inventory for sale. As of January 2023, there were less than 6,000 homes for sale in Lee County and fewer than 4,000 for sale in Collier County. This shortage of inventory has helped to maintain housing prices despite some slowdowns in buying.

In contrast to pre-pandemic levels, the average closed sale price in both counties is now well above those levels. This means that if you’re considering selling your home this spring, you can likely expect to receive a great return on your investment.
